Modeling comes before intelligence
The model is not the hard part. Modeling the business is.
The intelligence does not start with the model. It starts with having the business modeled correctly, so that BLU has something worth reasoning over. Making the business legible is the hard part; the AI gets enormously powerful the moment that is done.
I keep expecting the model to be the hard part, and it keeps not being.
THE SURPRISE
Fewer calls than expected
Most of this does not require an LLM call. That surprised me more than anything else in the build. The reasoning surface is smaller than the system looks from outside.
THE ORDER
Model first, reason second
The intelligence does not start with the model. It starts with having the business modeled correctly. Then BLU gets to reason over something worth reasoning over.
THE NOISE
Claims about running the company
There is a lot of noise right now about AI systems that supposedly run the whole company. I am in the chair building this every day. The more I build, the more convinced I am that making the business legible is the hard part.
