Challenge
HubSpot workflows were collapsing under the Air Quality Quiz logic — too many calls, too much waiting, zero personalization.
Results

About The Build.
The Air Quality Quiz (AQQ) looked simple — a form, a few API calls, some scoring logic. Then HubSpot melted. I moved the logic to Xano, ran it server-side, and fed the results straight back in. Real-time, zero fluff, and no more waiting 75 seconds for a workflow to finish. The Challenge
HubSpot forms are great for collecting data — terrible for doing anything with it in real time.
The goal was to make a quiz that didn’t just tag a contact, but built a full personalized results page in seconds based on live air-quality data and user responses.
The Solution
Offloaded every calculation and decision layer into Xano.
It handled AQI fetches from Google/BreezoMeter, EPA fallbacks, and user input scoring.
HubSpot’s only job? Receive the final scores, trigger the email, and display the personalized results page already pre-built with real data.
No polling. No waiting. No bullsh*t.
The Results
Workflow time: 75 seconds → 4 seconds.
Personalized landing pages render instantly.
Every contact gets a live, data-driven recommendation synced into HubSpot’s custom objects for future segmentation, automation, and follow-ups.
The system runs on autopilot — real-time logic, zero lag, no human babysitting.
